PhysZOU provides physical therapy and education to the un/underinsured population of Mid-Missouri in order to empower patients to take charge of their health and well-being, while enhancing student learning through hands-on experience and research opportunities. A team of graduate-level student physical therapists and licensed, practicing physical therapy clinicians will work together with the patient to improve the function and quality of life of all patients.
- PhysZOU will provide opportunities for physical therapy students to experience team interaction with medical, nursing, and pharmacology students to promote the highest quality patient care.
- PhysZOU will provide physical therapy students hands-on experiences that further enhance their clinical education in addition to providing the opportunity to serve others.
- PhysZOU will provide faculty the opportunity to observe students implement their clinical skills in a professional clinical setting.
Your contribution will directly support the everyday operational cost of providing this service to Mid-Missourians.
