Charles Lauderdale Memorial Scholarship

Charles Lauderdale graduated from the University of Missouri in 1965 with a dual B.S. Degree in Agricultural Economics and Agronomy.   Charlie, as he was known to everyone, not only spent his entire professional life associated with agriculture, but spent his personal life investing in farms near Poplar Bluff, Missouri, where he raised rice and soybeans. Charlie’s career in the chemical industry started in 1966 with Chevron Chemical Company, which led to 48 years of passionate dedication and leadership, finishing his career with 12 years at CGB Fertilizers.  The Charles Lauderdale Memorial Scholarship has been established by family and friends to continue Charles' legacy at Mizzou. The scholarship will be a lasting tribute for his dedication to the agriculture industry.

If you have interest in making a pledge for a multi-year donation to Charlie’s scholarship, please contact Brent McCauley (mccauleyb@missouri.edu 573-884-8732) or Penny Blank (blankp@missouri.edu or 573-882-8203).  We will explain how the multi-year pledge process works and get you signed up.
