Involved students have higher GPAs and report a stronger sense of belonging than uninvolved students. To encourage student success, the Department of Student Life provides a wide range of involvement opportunities, from alcohol-free events to leadership development and community service programs. Gifts to the Student Life Gift Fund are used by the Director of Student Life to fund educationally purposeful programs and activities that encourage student involvement at the University of Missouri.
