The Retired Agriculture Professors Scholarship was established in 2005 to support deserving CAFNR undergraduates. 2015 marks the 10th anniversary and, to date, the group has helped support the education of nine students. The current balance of the endowment generates approximately $600 annually to be awarded to a student. A generous retiree has pledged $500 a year, for the next five years, to ensure a minimum scholarship of $1,000 is awarded each year. Our goal is to increase the endowment by $10,000 to $25,000; this is the minimum amount needed to create an endowment and will guarantee a meaningful scholarship is awarded in perpetuity.
