CAFNR Dean's Fund for Excellence

Every year, CAFNR has important financial needs that aren’t anticipated or slated for funding through campus appropriations given other budgeted priorities. Therefore, the Unrestricted Fund was established to provide unencumbered funding, giving the Dean needed financial flexibility at crucial times to preserve and advance our reputation as one of the world’s best colleges of agriculture.   

CAFNR’s experience with the fund has been very positive. Recently the Dean's Fund for Excellence allowed CAFNR to update many of its classrooms with state-of-the-art equipment. This was paramount for keeping up with teaching and learning methods in today’s technology-driven society.

Your investment in the fund allows the College to remain responsive to student, faculty and industry needs while pursuing new initiatives, improving facilities and technology, and continuing to lead agricultural education, as it has for nearly 150 years.
