In addition to a personal donation, generous alumnus Gerard Fischer, a 1984 graduate of the Health Services Management Program, has offered to match funds raised by the HMI department from April to September 2017 up to $25,000 in support of student scholarships and faculty.
As Gerard personally recalls, “The HMI Alumni Association scholarship funds had an impact on me in terms of feeling someone else, in addition to my parents, was investing in my future."
