American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is partnering with MU Students' Underwater Robotics Foundation (SURF) to compete in the 2018 RoboSub competition hosted by RoboNation. RoboSub is an international underwater robotics competition held in San Diego every July. The goal for this competition is to design and build an autonomous submarine from scratch; capable of performing a variety of underwater tasks, scoring points based on performance. We plan to send as many active members to this competition as possible and we believe that if we reach our goal of $5000, we will be able to do that.
