The Mizzou Medicine family lost a dear member with the recent passing of Clay Baker, M.D. ’98.
Dr. Baker was born July 20, 1971, in Augusta, Georgia, to Jay Scott Baker and “Dolly” Janice Darlene (Hughes) Baker. Clay passed away at his home on April 19, 2017, following an illness. He graduated from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in May 1998. He completed a residency in Dermatology and a fellowship in MOHS Surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield, Illinois. He lived and practiced Dermatology in Pocatello, Idaho, prior to his death.
We wish to honor the life of our beloved friend and colleague with a memorial bench in the Legacy Courtyard. Once the required amount ($5,000) is raised, additional funds will be directed to a medical student wellness fund.
