Since health is foundational to academic success and social productivity, this fund provides students short-term assistance to pay health care expenses (e.g., medication, testing, transportation).
For more than 100 years, the MU Student Health Center has been the primary source of health care for Mizzou students, and has been accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care for more than 20 years. Our comprehensive health care services fully integrate primary care medicine with behavioral health services (counseling, psychiatry, mindfulness and coaching). As a Patient Centered Medical Home, students have quick and easy access to providers with electronic tools available for communication between visits. Additionally to keep Mizzou safe, we manage infectious disease outbreaks and MU’s immunization policy.
