Dr. Wilma King was a recipient of the Arvarh E. Strickland Distinguished Missouri Professorship in African-American History and Culture in the College of Arts and Science. She established this fund in honor of her parents, Mary Crawford King and Louis King. 

 

This fund will provide scholarship awards to students in the Department of Black Studies in the College of Arts and Science. This travel scholarship will allow students to participate in a study abroad program in Africa, the Caribbean, the West Indies or South America to study people of African descent.
