Join colleagues and friends of Dean Emeritus Roger Mitchell in supporting a permanently endowed fund at the University of Missouri in honor of Roger Mitchell's unwavering commitment to teaching, research and service in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. This fund will be awarded annually to ranked CAFNR faculty to recognize academic excellence and leadership in one or more areas of the College's core missions of outreach, research and teaching. Dr. Mitchell's career was shaped by a love of academia and a belief that land grant universities have an obligation to examine the future of food, farming and industry. In his own words, "At a land grant university, some people do the research, some come to campus as students, and some stay on their home place and benefit by the knowledge through Extension."
