The Harry S Truman School of Public Affairs prepares students from diverse backgrounds and life experiences to begin meaningful careers that can change the world. Whether working in government leadership positions, international organizations, non-profits or vital policy groups, our alumni begin their careers in public service by completing a rigorous curriculum complemented by meaningful educational experiences outside the classroom. In addition to its innovative MPA program, the School offers five graduate certificates and an interdisciplinary PhD program. The MPA program is available on the MU campus, in Jefferson City and on-line. The School's overall ranking among the country's 265 programs in public policy, affairs, and administration has risen from 50th to 33rd (21st among public programs) and to 26th in the field of public management and administration.
