The Economics Development Gifts Fund provides support for the teaching and research missions of the department. In the past, the fund has been used to help pay for the weekly seminar series which brings experts to campus for rich conversations about relevant topics ranging from reputation management for online sellers to the adverse effects of asset-means testing income support. The fund also gives the chair flexibility to address other urgent needs and take advantage of unexpected opportunities that arise within the department throughout the year.

Gifts from alumni and friends like you play an essential role in the day-to-day operations of the department as well as the long-term success of the program. By supporting the fund, you can invest in current and future economics students and further the mission of the department.
