The Economics Development Gifts Fund provides support for the research and teaching missions of the department. The fund also gives the chair flexibility to address other urgent needs and take advantage of unexpected opportunities that arise within the department throughout the year.
Current initiatives include:
- Summer Research Fellowships for Faculty and Students
- Undergraduate Student Groups (Women in Economics & the Economics Society)
- Conference Support for Graduate Students
- EPARC Policy Research (e.g. Economic Literacy Project)
Gifts from alumni and friends like you play an essential role in the day-to-day operations of the department as well as the long-term success of the program. By supporting the Economics Gift Fund, you can invest in current and future economics students and further the mission of the department.
