After 44 years of service to Mizzou as a professor of biological sciences, Curators' Professor H. Carl Gerhardt will be retiring in 2015. Thousands of students have been touched by his efforts, from those he mentored as a graduate adviser and those who experienced his introductory biology, sociobiology, animal communication, behavioral biology and herpetology courses.
Dr. Gerhardt and his wife, Dayna Glanz, have established the H. Carl Gerhardt and Dayna Glanz Graduate Student Travel Award Fund. Awards from the fund are given to biology graduate students to attend scientific conferences or meetings, training workshops or courses, specialized trainings, or to collect data.
If you would like to honor Dr. Gerhardt’s legacy at Mizzou, please make a tax-deductible gift to the H. Carl Gerhardt and Dayna Glanz Graduate Student Travel Award Fund today.
