The mission of the Multicultural Center is to work towards creating a culturally inclusive and culturally adept campus environment. The Center serves specifically as a support system and resource for the concerns and needs of students from marginalized and/or underrepresented identity groups. Through intentional dialogues and collaborative efforts, the center encourages students to develop holistically. In assisting in the creation of an educational and aware environment, the center deepens the understanding of the campus community and works to ensure the dignity and value of all individuals within the Mizzou community.
Gifts to the Multicultural Center will support student development, including Diversity Peer Educators, student-planned events and educational initiatives.
