The Henley Memorial Scholarship was established in 2015 upon the death of our mother, Lillian M. Henley. We have pledged to provide gifts and donations solicited from family and friends. When received, these gifts shall be used to establish a permanently endowed fund. This fund will provide scholarship awards to students at the University of Missouri Columbia campus with preference for students from California, Missouri.
This scholarship is granted in honor of our parents, Lillian M. and Nolan W. Henley. Their children: Mary Collins, and William and Katherine Henley, wish to extend our gratitude to parents that went out of their way to offer a hopeful future for their children -- university education being just one manifestation of their sacrifice. The promise of a richer life for their progeny was always paramount. With the awarding of this scholarship, we foster our parents’ spirit of promoting future generations with the fulfillment of promise in aspirant youth as its goal.
If you would like to impact a student’s life while honoring the Henley’s, please consider making a donation to the Nolan W. and Lillian M. Henley Memorial Scholarship fund today.
