West Turkana Paleo Project

The mystery of our origins fascinates us all. Who are we as a species? Where did we come from? Why do we look the way we do, act the way we act, think the way we think? The West Turkana Paleo Project (WTPP) is a joint partnership between MU, the National Museums of Kenya and University of Arkansas searching for the fossil evidence of our origins in Africa. The West Turkana region of Kenya has yielded some of the most important fossils of our ancestors, and holds the promise to reveal many more. The WTPP also makes it a priority to help local people wherever we work, strengthening communities and educating children. Your donation will provide equipment, supplies and personnel to help us uncover fossil evidence of our ancestors and help local communities. We invite you to partner with us in our quest.
