The Fortnightly Club is an association of women affiliated with the University of Missouri and the UM System that, since 1892, has directed its energies and talents toward fostering community, and, since 1976, toward raising money to provide scholarships for undergraduate students from across MU. Students with demonstrated financial need who attended a Missouri high school are eligible for these scholarships. Currently four to six scholarships are awarded each spring. An increasing endowment will allow a greater number of scholarships to be awarded or for each award to be a larger contribution toward the increasing cost of attendance. Scholarship awardees report being very grateful for the support provided by the Fortnightly Club.
