A Way With Words and Numbers is a community-based non-profit program that teams undergraduate students from the University of Missouri (MU) with local youth in the community to support their academic development in the key areas of reading and math. MU graduate students coordinate the program’s services and guide the undergraduates as they tutor the young learners. The program improves the academic and social achievement of local children while also benefiting the professional development and civic awareness of MU students.
Gifts to A Way With Words & Numbers will provide critical support that allows for the purchase of educational materials, equipment, and tutor resources. This will allow the program to train and equip more tutors to better meet the needs of our community.
