After 27 years, Linda Crane retired from the University of Missouri. Professionalism and service-mindedness are hallmarks of her career that included 18 years with the Mizzou Alumni Association. MAA has always felt like a family, and Linda may be more responsible for that than anyone else.
During Linda’s service to the Mizzou Alumni Association she impacted countless volunteers, faculty, staff, and alumni. Of particular note are the more than 180 student assistants she managed and mentored over the years. Her coaching and encouragement enriched these young employees and enhanced the service and support they provided under her direction.
In honor of her exemplary service, the Linda Crane Excellence in Service Scholarship shall be awarded annually to a current Mizzou Alumni Association student employee that strives to demonstrate the respect, professionalism, and attention to detail that she always modeled in her service to Mizzou.
