Truman’s Closet offers Mizzou and MU Health Care students, staff, and faculty a way to borrow professional and business attire appropriate for career fairs, interviews, and the workplace. Clothing can affect one's confidence and how they are perceived by others. There are times, such as interviews, where the first impression is everything.
We want to provide the MU community with the resources to make a great first impression without worrying about the cost of these clothes. Access to this attire is an essential resource that opens the doors for professional opportunities. All of Truman’s Closet’s current attire is thanks to the generosity of community members who have donated their own business and professional attire, as well as graduation caps and gowns. These donations have made Truman's Closet possible, and we are extremely grateful for the support we have received.
