The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a not-for-profit educational and service organization that empowers women to succeed and advance in the field of engineering and to be recognized for their life-changing contributions as engineers and leaders. Mizzou SWE strives to send students to professional national and regional conferences. These conferences are fundamental in professional growth and networking. Mizzou SWE also makes outreach to the community to raise the next generation of women and minorities in STEM a priority with events such as Daughter in Engineering Day, Girl Scout Day and science experiments at local high schools. Both outreach and funding conferences are instrumental in paving the way for the future generation of engineers, but they come at a significant cost. Help us fund our operations so SWE can continually support the future of STEM!
