The Community Chest is a pantry that provides food and other resources, such as hygiene products, to College of Veterinary Medicine students, staff and faculty and their families. The Community Chest is independent of other resources and made available entirely through private giving.
Food insecurity is a concern voiced by, and on behalf of, veterinary students as well as other members of the college community. Monetary support allows the Community Chest to supplement food supplies in stock to provide individuals with a diverse a selection of items. Your support will make a difference in the lives of those in need. Thank you!
(The MU Tiger Pantry is a resource similar to the Community Chest. However, the Tiger Pantry’s location on campus and hours of operation are not conducive to assisting veterinary students whose class schedules often prevent them from visiting Tiger Pantry.)
