Jane Ebben shaped the careers of innumerable veterinarians. Upon meeting her their lives were never the same. She taught them what it meant to be a veterinarian working with a technician - it was a relationship where each person brought their strengths to the table, respected one another, had fun, and always, always fought for the patients.
Jane was dedicated to continuing her own learning and improving her skills. Through her example, she demonstrated just how high standards could and should be. She helped colleagues and clients understand and appreciate the vital roles veterinary technicians and assistants play in veterinary care and education. She invited anyone and everyone interested in the profession to learn with her, and she was especially known for her mentorship.
