Curators’ Professor Dr. David H. Jonassen often stated, “I’ve made many mistakes in my life, but choice of career is not one of them!”. He absolutely loved his work as a professor and one of his favorite parts of the job was working with doctoral students in his field of learning technologies. He was most particularly interested in the areas of STEM education and problem-solving skills. Since his passing in 2012, the Dr. David H. Jonassen Endowment in Information Science has been established by Dr. Jonassen’s wife and others to encourage and assist others with the same aspirations. Dr. Jonassen’s legacy is carried out through this endowment. Your gift to the scholarship honors his legacy and helps students achieve their educational goals.
