Studying the humanities is an important part of a student’s well-rounded education. The humanities teach creative thinking and critical reasoning skills and keep students asking questions about morality, politics, science and life in general. Through the humanities sequence, students will develop valuable insight into the world they live in. Dr. Charles Hudson founded the humanities sequence at MU’s Honors College. Funds from this endowment, established in his honor, will be awarded to notable students who have completed at least two semesters of the sequence and are intending to complete the series.
