Thom (TJ) Bowling’s enthusiasm for the Sinclair School of Nursing was undeniable. Though Thom worked with as many as 600 students each year, he made a special effort to learn all of their names and to ensure each felt welcomed and heard.
After Thom's sudden passing in 2016, nearly 200 friends contributed to a fund in his memory to honor his everlasting impact on their lives. Those efforts made one of Thom's dreams a reality: starting a scholarship for underrepresented nursing students.
To permanently memorialize his life and devotion to our students, the fund must be endowed by June 30 with an additional $9,000. This will allow the scholarship to award $1,000 to a student each year in perpetuity.
With your support, Thom's compassionate spirit will touch the lives of Sinclair School of Nursing students for generations come.
