The MU Division of Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (IDE) was created in 2015 to foster an inclusive living, learning, and working community where everyone is valued and inspired to reach their full potential. IDE achieves this overarching goal through a number of programming efforts and support services including the Peer Educators, the LGBTQ Resource Center, the Gaines/Oldham Black Culture Center, the Multicultural Center, the Women’s Center, the Cambio Center, the Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention Center, STEM Cubs, the Discover Program, McNair Scholars Program, Missouri College Advising Corps and a comprehensive faculty recruitment and retention plan. Thanks to these efforts and many others, MU is in position to become a national exemplar where the campus, local communities, and the state embody inclusive excellence.
