Emerging Leaders Gift Fund

Emerging Leaders is a summer program that represents the combined efforts of MU’s Access & Leadership Development unit and the Missouri Legislative Black Caucus Foundation. Open to rising 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students in Missouri, the programmatic mission of Emerging Leaders is to:

1) Encourage students to think critically about public policy and community issues.
2) Strengthen students’ strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
3) Prepare high schools students for undergraduate studies through scholarly activities.
4) Foster a culture that celebrates academic achievement.
