Help the Missouri Journalism School do well for its graduates by letting them do some good in the surrounding community. Your contribution to the Missouri Information Corps will maintain a pop-up, collaborative newsroom created in response to the COVID pandemic. This summer, the Missouri Information Corps placed stories in more than 30 news outlets, ranging from USA TODAY to the Douglas County Herald. Their work also made the KBIA airwaves. In addition, team members experimented with new methods of news delivery, joining local social media discussion groups to share infographics and videos with up-to-date recommendations about how to respond to the pandemic. MU Journalism Professors Damon Kiesow and Kathy Kiely are supporting the project with funds from their endowed chairs. More money from you will help them hire more MU grads for this important work.
