There’s no better way to learn than by doing, and the May Class of 1977 knows that well. We want to make a real impact in enhancing student education in the new Simulation Center by funding IV arms and replacement arm skins for a total of $10,000. We would be the first class to assist in such a project, setting the stage for others to follow and helping pave the way for students to practice essential skills.
Students will learn those techniques in the Skills Labs, which contain 14 separate bays for specialized training, including immersive scenarios to practice the high-pressure realities of our profession.
Your gift to the Simulation Technology Equipment Fund will help us supply, enhance and maintain this cutting-edge technological asset, and ensure Mizzou's nurses continue to be well-prepared for clinicals and beyond.
