The field of parks, recreation, sport and tourism is an industry which encompasses important environmental and social issues such as conservation, community building, human development, health and well-being, and the quality of life. The Parks, Recreation and Sport program provides students with opportunities to develop knowledge and skills for designing, managing, and evaluating various leisure services across a variety of user groups. Gifts in support of the program provides opportunity for students to attend educational conferences and help them with financial needs including tuition and textbooks. Your contribution goes directly to the Mizzou PRS Alumni Student Scholarship fund which is awarded to highly achieving students in need.
