The Carl and Emily Schutz Memorial Art Education Scholarship Fund was established by Dr. Kathy Unrath and her husband Robert, in honor of Kathy’s parents, Carl and Emily Schultz, who inspired her art education career at Mizzou. Carl and Emily Schultz were great supporters of the arts and believed that they should be an integral part of every child’s education. This permanently endowed scholarship provides annual awards to outstanding art education students within Mizzou’s College of Education.
