MU School of Medicine Springfield Clinical Campus

Since its opening in 2016, the MU School of Medicine Springfield Clinical Campus graduated 56 medical students, and with increasing class sizes, the campus is on track to educate 350 additional physicians by 2035. SCC students complete the final two years of their patient-based learning education at Mercy and CoxHealth hospitals in Springfield after spending their first two years in Columbia. With a match rate above 97%, SCC students are excelling and being accepted into highly sought-after residency programs across the country thanks, in part, to the 375 faculty volunteers who work side-by-side with them.
