Melissa S. Morrow (MU JD, 1994) raised in mid-Missouri and bled Black and Gold for her University of Missouri. Melissa had a distinguished career as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) beginning in 1995. As a member of the FBI Evidence Response Team, Melissa served at the Pentagon in the months following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. After being diagnosed with a highly aggressive form of glioblastoma brain cancer, Melissa passed away on March 22, 2018. Her illness, attributed to her service at the Pentagon, was considered a Line of Duty Death. The Melissa S. Morrow Scholarship is a means for family and friends to honor the life and memory of a special woman who had a distinguished 22-year career as an FBI Special Agent. The scholarship will support a law school student with a passion to serve the community in the public sector.
