FAMS (Families Assisting Medical Students) provides support for medical students in the MU School of Medicine. The group and its leaders, who are volunteers representing each medical school class, serve as a liaison between students, families, faculty, administration, and alumni. FAMS is funded solely through family donations.
For a suggested donation of $100, you can be added to the FAMS network and help support the following medical student activities:
- M1 Orientation Picnic
- M1 and M2 Exam Meals and Refreshments
- M3 refreshments/snacks during the week of the PCC-OSCE (Patient-Centered Care Objective Structured Exam)
- M4 Graduation assistance
- Financial support of MUlation (Physician/Student mentoring event)
