Help us welcome the Class of 2028 into the University of Missouri School of Medicine family by donating to the White Coat and Stethoscope Fund for First-Year Medical Students. By doing so, you will be giving them the very first symbols of the profession: an MU branded white coat and cardiology grade stethoscope. You will also have the opportunity to share your own words of encouragement, which will be included with these gifts.
A universal symbol of the medical profession, the stethoscope is a tangible representation of a student’s medical journey. For a $250 donation, you can fund an immediate need by providing an incoming student with an MU branded stethoscope.
For a gift of $150, you can provide a first-year medical student with a white coat personalized with the MU School of Medicine logo. These coats will be worn with pride by the Class of 2028. Receiving these “cloaks of compassion” and pledging to uphold their profession’s high values are a traditional part of the annual White Coat Ceremony. A $400 gift will provide both tools of the trade.
