Omicron Delta Kappa Gift Fund

Established at MU in 1933, Omicron Delta Kappa is the national leadership honor society that recognizes juniors, seniors and graduate students for their achievements in the five phases of campus life: 1. Scholarship 2. Athletics 3. Campus or community service, social and religious activities, and campus government 4. Journalism, speech and mass media 5. Creative and performing arts. The society inducts about 25 students and two honorary faculty or staff members each spring, all of whom are publicly revealed at the university's annual Tap Day ceremony, a Mizzou tradition that spans nearly a century. ODK also sponsors the Distinguished 14 (formerly Top 14) program, which recognizes high-achieving first-year students for campus contributions, leadership and academic achievements. For an academic year, Distinguished 14 members participate in leadership programming and are mentored by juniors and seniors. Gifts to the ODK Gift Fund will support activities involving current members and alumni of ODK and the Distinguished 14 program. Our two priorities include replacing old, worn-out Tap Day robes and awarding scholarships to first-year students in our Distinguished 14 program. • $100 covers the cost of one Distinguished 14 scholarship. • $200 covers the cost of one Tap Day robe. Help us continue to honor and support Mizzou's most outstanding students by making a donation to the ODK Gift Fund.
